The VP20 has been designed to facilitate vibration measurement in the frequency range 0.1 to 350 Hz. Three wide bandwidth piezo electric accelerometers complete with amplifiers and band limiting filters are enclosed within a low profile aluminium case.
The VP20 tri-axial accelerometer uses Lamerholm's patented piezo electric accelerometer technology to provide good low frequency response, low phase error and resistance to rough handling. An additional benefit of this advanced accelerometer technology is its very low noise which allows measurements to span an 86dB dynamic range from 0.0005g to 10g.
